Calling all fellow CZ 52 fans! (nutz like me:D) I'm just curious, has anyone actually fired Mag Safe rounds through their '52? Everything I can find on-line says it should cycle fine, and I'm comfortable with Mag Safe rounds in general, but I must confess this is the first caliber I have bought them for (7.62x25) for in home SD. (I would prefer my 12 GA, but it's not an option .. long story :banghead::rolleyes:)

All the "experts" have said it cycles fine and doesn't cause excessive pressure, but I'd also like to hear from average '52 owners ("experts" sometimes sell more ammo and magazines than good advice :cuss:) I'd especially love to hear of some home tests in water/wet phone books and the like. Be great to get the guys with the "Box of Truth" to test some, but I can't afford to send them the ammo right now.

Thanks!

Never messed with it but you may want to consider the new Wolf JHP. Someone on czforum.com did some tests with it when it first came out and got some very promising results, both in making a mess and stopping in the target. Here's the link:

The tree was only about 2 1/2" in diameter, having a round actually stopping and mushrooming makes me feel pretty good about this JHP round.

Not bad.
