I really do like my CZ-82. The trigger is surprisingly nice, especially for the price. The pistol is also incredibly accurate, thanks in part to the trigger and usable sights (not too common with military surplus pistols, I've noticed).
I have both the 52 and 82, they're both great guns for different reasons.
The 82 has:
a nice SA trigger (the 52 does too if you put in the right FP from Harrington)
compact size (although not as flat as the 52
better safety lever
better (marginally) mag release
HP ammo more widely available
But it is wide, doesn't shoot 7.62x25loudenboomerarmorpunchin ammo, and has an honestly crappy finish ... but you should get one to keep your 52 company, and as an example of two ways to engineer a product to the same needs.
