CZ 527 owners, i need some help

im looking for a receiver mounted, aperture sight for my 527 carbine. are there any out there that can be mounted with a minimum of machining/fitting? i dont want to ruin the rail, but i dont mind a little drilling/tapping.

i do plan to call williams and negc to see if they have anything that will work once i get a chance.

Brownells sells them for the 550, so I would guess there's a 527 out there. LMK if you find one.

NECG makes their quicklock base in 16mm dovetail. Then add their peep sight which locks into the base. I don't know if the height will be right.

It'll be about 2" too high, Good thing was I sent it back and New England credited my account.
I think about the only option would find a mount that replaces the front sight. But then you'd have a pretty hard time aiming that far away. The factory sight isn't that bad really, it just takes a little getting used to.

I eventually mounted a scope on mine. it works fine except the front sits below the front sight a little.

The CZ 527 uses proprietary scope rings. They work fine, but can be spendy.

You can use any 16mm scope rings on the 527. I have Burris rings on my 527.
