CZ 550 American Scope Question

I hope to pick up my new CZ 550 American in .270 Win in the next week or so. I planned on using my 3-9X40 scope, but wouldn't mind trying a 50mm objective on this rifle if possible.

Are the CZ supplied rings tall enough for a 50mm, or am I better off using the 40mm? Any personal experience/preferences on objective size with this rifle? Pics would be helpful, too.

I put Weaver SuperSlam 3-15x50 on my CZ 550. It fits just fine. I used CZ supplied rings. Sorry no pics.
