CZ-550 Magazine Won't Latch

I recently bought a CZ-550 Varmint Kevlar in 22-250 cal. My first day at the range today revealed it's easily going to be a MOA shooter or better if I do my part with making good loads for it. However, the magazine will not latch in the magazine well. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what did the repair consist of? Recommendations?

I would take the action out of the stock and see if all the parts are seated correctly in the bottom of the receiver.

I'm not real familiar with the CZ-550 box magazine version.
But the CZ-527 can be put together so the internal magazine support metal does not seat properly and then things don't work right.
