Cz 550 sst

I plan on buying a CZ 550 american, but I had a newb question about the single set trigger. From what i gather, you push the trigger forward then it turns into a hair trigger. Do you have to push it forward after every time you fire the gun and cycle the bolt, or does it stay in the "hair" trigger format until you safe the weapon and pull the trigger to the standard mode?

You have to engage the set trigger every time.

To add to that, you can disengage it with the safety on... i.e. once it's set, it CAN be unset without firing the gun.

What he means is you have to engage the set trigger each time you want to use it as a set trigger, otherwise it is a normal trigger.

Yea i assumed that, so i guess that means the standard trigger will be utilized in the event of a quick follow up shot right?

The single set trigger is nice. I use it more than the other.
