A little while back I got a CZ-82 with my C&R. Easily one of the best $200 I've ever spent. While I love the little thing, the magazines I got with it are another matter. One has such a thin bottom, that I've gotten bitten pushing it into the gun. Finding new mags is not exactly an easy proposition for this thing, but I've heard that CZ-83 magazines can be used. Anyone have any experience with this? I'd really like to get ahold of more than just one usable magazine.

The cz 83 mags for .380 and 9mm Mak are the same as CZ82 9mm mak mags. New ones have the slim base plate. Older military mags have the thick base.
As a side note; The CZ82/83 mags also fit the Sphinx AT.380., for the dozens of us that own that pistol.

Surplus mags. Some may have the milled floorplates but I would bet money some are the thinner stamped.
