Welcome to the club!

I have a CZ-40P as well. Got it bout 6-8 weeks ago. Just finished adding a nitride steel guide rod, polished ramp, honed ejector and wolff springs - 18lb recoil, firing pin, extractor and +5% mags. Call it the 40P reliability package. Let me give you guys a tip; the hammer / main spring is a bear to put back in! Don't do it...trust me! This is the single most finicky eater I've ever seen. You may get lucky and get one that feeds everything well out of the box. My understanding is a lot of them don't...mine didn't and would FTF 1 in 20 and FTE 1 in 50. I think it's because the tolerances are very close and needs a lot of shooting to get well broken in. Despite my problems with it, I love the looks, the overall feel and the excellent value. I am determined to make it work. Congrats!..and happy shooting.

I have several top shelve 9's, Glock, Sig, Ruger, Benelli, and others.

My CZ-75 is the tightest, most solid, most ergonomic, most accurate 9 I have ever owned. If restricted to one 9, I would have to pick the CZ.

The main spring is cake

Just use the edge of a table to push/hold the plug and spring in while putting in the pin. Not hard at all.

My 40P had some feeding issues at first. Those have disappeared the more I've shot it. I also polished the magazine lips and that helped.

Here's my one pistol. I love it. It's all I need.

As for the knives and flashlights, they change with my mood.

Here's a nice pic of a PCR with wood grip. I have one but with the std rubber grip.

They are my favorite, I have two, a 75 B and a glossy blue Compact, but lame pics. My question is... how do you pronounce it? Anybody have a phonetic way of typing it?

(And ya better not type "See Zee," ya yahoos... I mean the real name! :neener: )

CZ Beauty:

I don't know about everyone else, but knowing how accurate, soft shooting, reliable, and reasonably priced CZ's are, in my humble opinion, the graceful lines and elegance CZ possess make these the BEST LOOKING pistols I have ever seen.

My Pre-B 75 is as slick as glass and is one hole accurate at 21'. A combat pistol price that is target pistol quality.
