You CZ fans might be interested in this.
I don't shoot the 83 a lot, maybe 8 times since new, but I tried it out at 100 yards yesterday morning. It did better than the other small pistols I've shot so far at 100 yards.
It actually shoots too high at 25 yards which makes it just right at 100 yards.
the bottom is from my USPSA production gun..worked over by Matt Mink of Team CZ-USA.. the top is a .40 topend that I was able to track down..and I am going to put it on my SA frame for a USPSA L10 gun..but the other night..I decided to see if my SP01 frame and the .40 top would fit...
and they did..very well too..slide to frame is tight and there is contact all along the rails..it is nice that the .40 slide has rails from front to back..as does the SP01 frame...I am seriously thinking of getting another SP01 and leave the combination together as it is pretty neat.....
Will post pics of me week-old SP-01 tomorrow. Was planning on buying a P226 in .40S&W in a couple of months, but now I'm just hoping for a factory .40 SP-01.
