Added another CZ to the pistol stable this weekend! This one is a dual tone 75B. This brings the official CZ count up to 4: His and Hers P01's, an SP01 Tactical and the new 75B.

We stopped by our local range on the way home and tried out the 75B... it was flawless, even (literally) dripping with the thick factory oil. I am still more accurate with the SP01, and I think I prefer the SP01 over the 75B, but it's probably too early to tell for sure.

Four CZ's almost became five this weekend, too. My wife was interested in the RAMI for summer carry. We could only find the new polymer frame model (P) and it didn't fit her hand well. She also had trouble accessing the safety: It was too thin and small (this seems to be a common complaint). Perhaps someone in the CZ aftermarket business (Angus?) will come out with bigger controls.

I keep eyeing a used Tactical Sport. It would have made the trip home with me long ago, but it's in 40 S&W. I have nothing against 40... I just don't want to add another caliber to my stable.

Gotta love the CZ's!

Steve

I don't have one yet personally, but I do hope to get myself a cz75 eventually. Unfortunately theres only so much gun budget to go around for a big list of wants. I do have a baby eagle, which is of course a cz clone, that I like very much. I currently only own one 9mm pistol (Taurus 99), and with ammo costs rising as they are all my .357s are getting awfully expensive to shoot. I think it will soon be time to consider another 9mm, and when the times comes it'll most likely be a cz75.

I just bought my first CZ (don't have it in hand yet) but its one of those 30th Anniversary CZ 75Bs and its NIB--got a really good deal.

Now the question is do I actually shoot it or does it become a "safe queen". Of course, if its a safe queen, that means I'm going to have to buy another CZ 75 to shoot :D

I know what you mean. I bought an SP01, followed by a kadet kit. Next was a 2075 Rami for carry. I intend to get spares of each.

no 40p?

I got my 40p last week, my first CZ, im hooked :) my next will prolly be a duo-tone 75b

My first handgun was a CZ-75B.
Had to get the Kadet kit also; that's pretty much a given.

My first CCW was a PCR.
My second CCW was a RAMI.

Sold the latter two just to thin the herd out a little, but they were great guns. I just didn't like the curved trigger in the PCR and RAMI (and also the SP guns).

I'm about to purchase my first CZ, going to buy a Ghost Holsters Custom CZ75 SP-01 once Angus gets back from the latest competition he's at.

CZ's are multiplying... All is right with the world.

I've only got my heathen Jericho so far. CZ based, but I still long for a P01 with a safety instead of a decocking lever. No CZ40's. Don't need another ammo category added to my shopping list!

If you think that CZs are habit-forming, then look at some of the CZ clones on the market. I had an ITM AT84s whisper to me at last weekend's gun show. I knew I was in trouble when it followed me home.

I'm looking for another CZ to add to the collection for August 28, the Exercist Your Rights Day as a counter-protest to Rev Jackson's protest against gun stores. Let's crash the NICS!!

cz2075 rami 40 cal

I have a new cz 2075 Rami in 40 cal and am not sure if I love it just yet. Magazine capacity says 8 but if I try to put more than 6 in it will jam and not feed the cartridges. I have tried 3 different brands of ammo and have had the same issue. I also absolutely can't get 8 rounds into it.

In addition to that, I can't find a good IWB holster for it. Does anybody have any good ideas for me?

Thanks

I have a RAMI in polymer and understand the concern with the slimness of the safety. This is due to the overall "pre-melted" and snag smoothing design for CCW

On the other hand as a DA/SA with a firing pin block, I'm comfortable carrying loaded and hammer down.

One thing I have found with the poly as opposed to all metal RAMI is that I feel the poly absorbs recoil better.

With regard to GSREIMERS issue of feed issues.

I had this issue at first, my RAMI 9mm hates PMC ammo. I polished the feed ramp, gently eased VERY SLIGHTLY wider the magazine lips and polished the edges (Mecgar mags) and haven't had an issues since.

The 40 RAMIs have had issues for some time. I have been told the newest ones are supposed to have all these issues taken care of. I can say my wifes 9mm RAMI works perfectly every time.

"I still long for a P01 with a safety instead of a decocking lever."

Sorry. PO1's are decocker-only. At least, that's all I've ever seen.

I inventoried the CZs in my accumulation (I hesitate to call it a collection, indicating some focus), and the count was 26, between the compacts (3), semi-compacts (3), 85s (2), 75 Pre-b (3), Retro (1), and the 75B (12), the 40B and a Kadet, I think I'm ready to proceed into the SP series.

Somebody stop me before I bid again!!

A few years ago I found a 40P in a local gun shop; Nobody else wanted to buy it. Every week I'd stop in, it would still be there, and I'd ask to hold it awhile...Finally, I couldn't stand it any longer, it looked so lonely sitting there...and I bought it. Love that little gun.
Now I have a P01 in 9mm and again, I love that little gun. And, yes, I'm now looking at the 75B's with a pang of desire...It just doesn't stop. From Clif47's post I can see that it won't stop. Ever. :D

difference between PCR and P-01??

I'm looking at getting my first CZ in the next few weeks but don't know if I want a P-01 or a PCR. What's the difference other than the sights?

HELP!!

I believe that I've read that the PCR has a cast frame, while P01 is forged.

Other than the accessory rail, they're practically the same gun.

Had a rather unnerving dream last night. I was getting ready to go to work and I couldn't find any clothes to put on. Every drawer was filled with CZ pistols of one model or another, not only that, but they were breeding!!

When the alarm went off, I swung my feet outo f the bed and promptly stubbed my toes on a range bag (now how did that get there?).
