Traded another shotgun and came home with a CZ 85 COMBAT in 9mm and a KADET .22.

Took them to the range straight from the gunstore and shot them for accuracy. DEAD ON!

I've NEVER seen pistols right out of the box which shot so well.

I've always gotten SIG, H&K etc pistols but CZ is hard to beat. the guns cost me $450.00 each against the trade and I got a pile of ammo for each.

Close your eyes and pick up one and you cannot tell if it's the 9mm or the .22 so practice with the .22 and carry the 9mm.

Put 200 rounds through the 9mm NO PROBLEMS...the .22 is unstoppable. Give CZ's a look.

I've never been a big CZ fan. Nothing against them but just not interested in them.
In the last couple years I bought a CZ52 and two CZ83 (9x18 & .32ACP). Nice guns.

At the gun show a few weeks ago I was looking for a 40 S&W to shoot a bunch of 40 ammo I have.
I ran across the inexpensive ($330) CZ 40P. I liked what I saw and thought it's a CZ, how bad can it be.

Except for a somewhat bad trigger and the ugly sticking down magazine I really like the gun. Right out of the box it's been 100% reliable and very accurate.
I like it so well it's become my nightstand gun.

The newest CZ pistol is the new PO6, a PO1 in 40. Just arrived.
All the CZs I have fired have been outstanding, (with the exception of the CZ-100 - GAH, what a trigger!!!), and very accurate. My PO1 rides with me every day.

I have a 75 BD and the only problem the gun has had was its user, me. I was too gentle on the slide. It's my first gun and has been very accurate, comfortable, and reliable. I used a P-01 and 75 Compact this week. Both were very, very nice.

I want a carry size, unfortunately there wasn't much difference in size between my 75 BD and the Compact.

Yep, the CZ design is a very good one. I've always been a 1911 type guy, but since I got my hands on some CZs, I'll keep one really nice 1911 and anything else I get with be a CZ75 type design. Here's what I shoot. ;)

I have been thinking about one of the Kadets. How well does it group? Probably like every other gun, it will depend on the one you get, but...

Every one I've seen and the one I have are very nice and very accurate -- with only the Marvel conversion kits (1911) consistently outshooting them.

I had a Ruger Target Competition with the long slab-sided barrel. After I got the Kadet Kit, I traded the Ruger away -- there just wasn't enough different in accuracy, and the Kadet Kit was easier to clean.

On the 16th of this month I picked up a CZ 75 Compact (9mm). After putting 120 rounds thru it with no problems and it being very accurate I definitely will be looking at more CZ handguns.

A CZ Kadet sounds like a really nice plinker! With the rising cost of all ammunition and the shrinking stock pile of the NATO/Service ammo I think that the .22 might just be making the largest come-back ever (probably bigger than the .223 in the 80s). Good idea to get yours before the demand goes up :D

Kadet

BOTH Cz's shoot well.

The 9mm cut a jagged hole with 5 shots

The .22 is a RIFLE! Our range is only 100 yards deep and I was hitting near or breaking orange skeet from the rest at the bench.

I started with CCI STANDARD velocity rounds just to see "if it will shoot this stuff it will shoot anything"..probably the most accurate round thus far AND it will shoot anything I threw at it today.

I would take this one hunting! BTW, the trigger on BOTH gets better with use.

They started off with creeeeep but have started to settle in now.

I am just amazed at what you get for the money with CZ.

Any one own or have used a RAMI or RAMI P? Would appreciate reading how they are to shoot, accuracy, reliability, and how they are to carry.

Thank you.

My Kadet is currently in the shop for a drill n tap. Putting a Millett red dot on it. Can't wait.

Ironically the Kadet is a lot more reliable than the 9mm slide.

I have been thinking about one of the Kadets. How well does it group?
I've compared my Kadet to a Ruger 22/45 (nice gun), two different Browning Buckmarks and my own Ruger Single six. The Kadet shot just as accurately as the best of them and felt tighter and more solid than the Buckmarks. Its also easier to take down and clean than any of those guns.

I'm a huge fan of CZs without every really trying to be. Along the way, I've accumulated (in this order) a CZ-75, CZ-70, Kadet slide for the '75, CZ-40B, two CZ-52s and a CZ-82. With exception of the CZ-52s, all are great guns, 100% reliable and shoot very well. They are much better guns than you'd expect for the price.

I love the Kadet. It's my favorite .22 auto.

That's a box of shells in that group... gotta love the little bugger.

Alot of people say that CZ's are good for the money. I say CZ's are good regardless. Let 'em be judged on their own merit. Great pistols, and a 75 B is definitly on the short list. Congrats and enjoy!
