1) I am having a hard tim finding any meaningful information on the CZ 100. Can anyone enlighten me as to the quality of the weapon?

2) How large is the grip and how long is the trigger reach on a CZ 75b? I have medium size hands. How is it relative to the G19?

Thanks!

Well...the term quality of the weapon is subjective. Its a CZ....they are accurate, dependable and a great gun....the reason they didnt take off in the states is the trigger on most of them SUCKS! Its a DAO trigger with second strike capability...very unglock like.

As far as ergonomics it probably one of the best guns on the market. It doesnt compare to other CZ's in the grip so I wont even try. Dimensionally its very similar to a G19. What else do you want to know??????????

Shoot well......

I have a couple of cz 75's. I don't have a cz 100 but from everything I have read and heard it has the worst trigger on a cz. It is double action only and has a heavy long trigger pull. Do a search here. Mark

The CZ-75 is an excellent sidearm, a wonderful reliable durable pistol renowned theworld over, with incredible ergonomics.
The CZ-100 was an attempt by CZUB to break into the polymer frame market, and build a police pistol to specifications provided. It has some interesting design points, like the one handed cocking mechanism on top of the slide, the recessed slide release, and the fact it is available outside the United States as the CZ-100 DAO and the CZ-110, DA/SA. The trigger mechanism is an interesting one, but resulted in a DAO pull that is, quite frankly, horrible. I have been told the CZ-110s trigger is actually pretty darn good, but the 110 is not imported right now.
I had a CZ-100 in 40, felt OK in the hand, well made, but the trigger meant I could not fire it accurately at any reasonable distance. Which was a darn shame. I sold it.

I have a 75B and small hands. I have no trouble getting a proper grip and shoot the pistol. The only other "wondernine" that I can grip better is the Hi Power - the CZ is not a fat pig when it comes to the grip. The safety is just shy of what I find comfortable to deselect with my thumb when I draw from a holster.

The SP01 has a different bevertail then the 75B and offers a more 1911/Hi Power deeper grip which improves reach to the safety.

I love my 75B and for the money can't think of another pistol that shoots as well, runs as well, and is as well balanced. GREAT guns.

Don't fret the trigger - put 500-1000 rounds down the tube and then you'll feel a VERY smoth and even trigger pull. If you can't wait for that send it to Angus or Matt Mink for a real competition trigger job.

Jeff
