Question: I can buy a brand new Redhead for $699. I really can't afford a new Citori. Would I be better off, buying a good used Citori for say $1000, or invest in the CZ? Don't shoot a whole lot, just want a O/U.
And, rounding the last turn, it's the pig from Turkey, and the pig from Japan! But wait, they might both be edged out by the pig from Brazil!
(Translation: stop, breathe, consider that you might not want either one. There are shotguns out there that handle VERY differently from either of those, particularly in 12 Gauge. Unless you want it to hang on the wall, I'd do some more investigation before dropping $699, or $1000, or whatever. I've been seeing Cynergy shotguns on sale for cheap lately, and Citoris, too. Don't choose a shotgun because of the price, though. Get the best price you can, on the gun that actually feels right to you.)
AB is right. If it doesn't fit well, no matter what the price, it won't have as-good of a natural point. See what fits, and see what prices you can find.
