cz rifles.

I have a new cz 550 .308 coming to me and I am trying to match a scope for it. One bad thing is that one is limited on rings for cz's. I have CZ 1" rings, which have a 19mm dovetail, coming with it. I am not sure what size diameter scope I can fit on this cleanly with these rings. I am looking at some of the Leupold 50mm scopes.

How can I determine this? Also does anyone know of a forum where cz rifle people congregate?

Any scope with a 1" outer diameter main tube will fit inside those rings. They're not especially low mounting, so I should think a 50mm objective would fit just fine too. I don't have it in front of me (since I'm at work) but I seem to recall there being plenty of space beneath the objective on my 3-9x40 Bushnell scope on my 550 American. I'd be surprised if it were any less than 1/4" (that would still give you at least .053" clearance with the 50mm scope).
