Can anyone recommend a gunsmith to do a trigger job on an SP-01? My local smith looked at it, but decided not to touch the unusual CZ trigger mechanism less he make things worse. I love the gun, but it's got enough creep and grit for 10 guns.

send it to Matt Mink , MatthewMink.com

or Angus Hobdell, CZcustom.com

both will get a really slick up action..mine from Matt is 6#DA and 2#SA.

I'm familiar with the big names. But they charge an arm and a leg and have long wait times. I'm not looking for a Cadillac trigger job. A Ford will do nicely. Just someone to smooth a little of the junk out. I'm hoping someone has a little experience with CZ's.

Thanks.

gotcha..

over on CZforum and CZshooters..there are a couple of how to do triggers..
are you familiar at all with disassembly???

changing the hammer spring will help a bunch..
polishing the firing pin block and the FPB lifter will help too..as that is last bit of movement you usually feel as that lifts..
when you tear it down..make sure your work surface is clean..there are a couple of small parts in there...
