Anyone own a CZ75B with a recurve trigger? CZ started using recurve triggers on models like the CZ P06 and CZ SP-01, but since last year CZ75Bs also started shipping with the recurve triggers.

I've read conflicting accounts of increased trigger slap and pinching with the recurve triggers. Some people love the recurve while others hate it. What's your take?

Mine has the older silver trigger, but I have read of a number of people who experienced pinching. Like you, I've also read of some who preferred it. Different "strokes" for different folks.

The CZ's long DA pull has a lot of shooters trying to get a trigger with a shorter reach (like SIG offers). That's my guess on why they switched. In reality, the recurve trigger reach change is in the thousandnth's and not significant to most with short reach problems.

If you carefully pull the original trigger to the rear until the hammer drops, you'll see that it's virtually touching the rear of the trigger guard. IMO, Removing the FPI and installing a comp hammer can shorten the pull a little, but a trigger change just changes the feel.

I'll stick with mine.
