I became a resident of Wisconsin yesterday. There's a great gun shop a few minutes from me and I stopped in during lunch to take a look at what they had, and walked out with the CZ TS2. Coming from the Chicago area, it was great to walk into a gun store and walk out with a gun with no wait period and no FOID requirements.

I'm a CZ fan and own a few of them. As much as I love the 75 series guns, the finish on this one is on a different level and is fantastic. It's got some weight to it with a great trigger and I'm hoping to have a chance to shoot it tomorrow evening.

Welcome to WI. That's two CZ TS2 threads in 2 days. SA CZs are great, I have a TSO. Someday I will put down the Glocks and Sig P226 to concentrate on it properly.
Nice pistol, congrats and thanks for sharing. I also hope you get to feed it ASAP.

I picked mine up from my dealer. Managed to put about 300 rounds through it so far. You’ll love it! I as holding out for a Dan Wesson DWX, but finally gave up.

Congrats on your new CZ. Enjoy it. Please post back when you've had a chance to try it out.
Envious here.

Congrats on your escape.
Nice pistol too.
I donated the price of a pretty nice pistol to my distant cuz Darren Bailey. He is making a run for governor. I'm not sure he can beat the corrupt 'machine'....but if he does, gun laws will loosen in Illinois.

I hope he can pull it off. I own a business and my customers are in Illinois, so I'm still there 2 to 3 days a week. Reciprocity with other states for carry permits would be nice, as I can no longer carry there.

I was born and raised in Chicago. I left when I was 16.

Boy, did I do the right thing!. I have never regretted it. Neither will you.

Welcome to Wisconsin, but .... my state is teetering on the edge of going blue, and it has a history of fluctuating between slightly blue and slightly red. I just hope you Chicagoans moving here are bringing some red with you and not blue. Just be a Wisconsinite. Don't be a Chicagoan in Wisconsin. If Wisconsin tips solid blue it's done as a free state.

I’m as red as people get. Moving from a place because you don’t like the policies of the people who run it and then voting for those policies in your new state is puzzling to me.

I just got back from the range. It shot better than I hoped. The combination of its weight (48.5 ounces according to CZ's web site) and the long sight radius make it as soft of a shooter as I've owned. Accuracy was what you'd expect from CZ. The trigger pull is smooth, and comes in at 3 pounds according to my Timney Trigger Pull scale. I had shot a fellow club member's Shadow 2 a while ago at my old club and picking up a competition gun from CZ has been on my list.

I agree wholeheartedly, and makes complete sense to me, but apparently happening in some Western states seeing an influx of former Californians. Enjoy your Second Amendment rights here in Wisconsin, and help us to keep them!!

Welcome to Wisconsin! You do realize you're in the wrong side of the state, however. ;) (Unless you're in Door County...)

Oh, heavens, there are Bears fans that live in Green Bay, and we don't hold it against them ;)

I went to the Packers/Bears game at Lambeau in 2019, and the Bears fans that sat right in front of us were nice guys. We had a good time trading jibes, and congratulating when someone made a great play on either side.

I'm no so sure the Packers/Vikings game I'm going to this year will be as cordial.

I worked on one of the blue-gripped Ts2's for a friend, I put a trigger pack in it. I tried it before doing the work, I could have lived with it as is, but the trigger pack did make it lighter and a tad smoother. His had a red dot on it, test firing it was fun.
