It sounds crazy ... but I think I want to ask anyways. It seems very hard to find CA legal (10rd) CZ75 9mm Mags below $25 (some are running around $40). However, I came across CDNN with Jericho .40S&W 10rd Mag at $20. CDNN indicates this mag will fit Baby Eagle and EAA as well. IIRC, Jericho, EAA are clones of CZ75. The question is whether Jericho .40S&W factory mag can be used in CZ75BD 9mm or .40S&W pistol. I have a Pro-Mag CZ75 .40S&W 10rd mag that fits my CZ75BD 9mm and functioning perfectly. I regret I didn't get more on this. Thanks for help.

As I recall the BE mags fit and shot fine in my CZ Shadow for the one magazine that I tried. But the other way around was iffy with frequent jams even in the one magazine. The bit of doubt is that this was about a year back so it MAY have been the other way around but I'm pretty sure I'm remembering correctly.

It may only require some slight reshaping of the lips but something would need to be done to make it more trouble free. However both mags in both guns would slide in and lock nicely and drop free easily.

I don't have a 40, but in my cz75 SP-01 9mm BE mags would lock in and function. They did stick out a good bit though.(an annoying amount actually) The CZ mags will not fit my AR24 (it uses the same mags as the BE and tanfoglio/EAA it is also a 9mm)
The latch hole placement on the cz magazine was located to far up to engage the latch before the mag base hit the end of the magwell. So I couldn't latch it.

I have a Jericho 941, 9mm full size steel and have a couple Norinco NZ75 mags. The only issue is the slide doesn't lock back on empty. NZ75 mags should be very close to CZ75 I would think.

Thanks devildave for your response. Thanks for the info on "the slide doesn't lock back on empty", which might be inconvenient on the range, but shouldn't be an issue for me in tactical. I was trained to manage ammo and run a tactical reload before empty to prevent slide locking back.
