Regarding my post above, I replaced my recoil spring with a Wolf 14lb. Took it to the range today and it worked great. No FTFs : )

Weird. 14lbs is factory strength for 9mm. Maybe you got a defective one from CZ...

I've heard that czs sometimes have weak springs. A defective recoil spring is not that big of deal. Glad you got it working.

I had also bought the gun used, not sure how many rounds went through it. The new spring is definitely stronger than the old one.

Thanks for the replies. Was going to put a few boxes of feds through it today to see what happens but something came up. I'm going to call CZ when they open on wednesday and see what they say. I'm hoping that it is fust somdthing simple and I don't have to send it in.

I talk to a CZ Gunsmith a while ago and explained as best I could and they're sending me a Wolff recoil spring. So I hope that works.
