I was shooting my Daewoo DH40 this weekend with my nephew and after 75 rounds we started having a malfunction with the pistol.

We would fire a round, the gun would cycle properly but would not reset the trigger. You can manually push the trigger forward and it will work for one pull.

I am primarily a revolver guy, any suggestions for this failure to reset?

You broke the trigger return spring. Same thing happened to mine. The spring is a subpar design, IMO. It has far too few coils for the expected range of movement for it to last very long. The only good thing is it's easy to fab a replacement. It's just a few coils of spring with straight ends, easily made by bending music wire around a nail/rod pounded into a block of wood.
