Don't get me wrong, I really like this little hogleg. Even have a holster on order for it. Here Da Boy tries it out after the last front sight adjustment.

Could stand to be filed down a skosh, but it shoots pretty much POA for me at 10 yards. Not meant as a target pistol. When I had my "shootout with Black Bart", the B-27 target at 11 paces, all shots were what one could call, kill shots.

Oh, yes, introduction - this is an Uberti Cattleman II BirdsHead in 357 mag, Old Model, so it has a 3.5" barrel.

BUT, I expect it to work. And during the above "shootout" it developed a quirk I canna live with - it won't cock all the way. Pull the hammer back and the sear won't engage. This gun has had MAYBE 200 rounds through it, probably less. First the "low left" issue, and now this. I am not sure if I will keep it after I get it repaired. It's fun, but I need reliable fun.

I had the same issue with my Ubeti, would not cock all the way back if I didn’t mean it. I mean really give it a full back hammer cock!

my 10mm SAA Uberti cylinder lock broke after not even firing it. Just messing with it at home. I kinda for a foul taste in my mouth for Uberti now. That why I didn’t get the Schofield for $1200.

I’m only buying used Uberti’s from now on. Something someone already worked the kinks out

I had a 22 Uberti do the same thing. And it was still doing it after two trips back to the mothership or wherever they get sent for repair. I gave up on it after that and just took a store credit for the next thing I couldn't live without.

I’m wondering if theses things are guns made during Covid? That’s when I started buying them and I’ve had issues with 5 of 5

That could be very much the problem. Italy went full on nuts over the flu. Production was way down for a time. Gun broker was selling Walker pistols for over 600.00 on a regular basis. Now you get them locally for around 375 to 450.

I have a Uberti Winchester were the lever hing hole is probably .003 undersize. Flops like a dogs tail ( exaggerating)
