I have had a bunch of 1911s over the years including a complete custom, a brief stint with a Les Baer and a couple of bullseye specific guns. I recently picked up a DW Heritage and shortly after a PM7 and they are 2 of the nicest 1911s I have owned and shot. Both shoot a ragged hole at 25 yards and fit and finish is outstanding. I had the Heritage cut for a red dot and am leaving the PM7 as is.

They are the stainless ones in the pic. I'm now looking for a DW Guardian.

Have a Dan Wesson Guardian in 9 milli-metric .... My favorite 1911 to shoot.
Have 10 in 5 different calibers, Wilson Combat, Dan Wesson, Sig Sauer, Rock Island, Para Ordnance.
Got one RI that started life as a 9 milli-metric that's now a 38 Super with upgraded WC parts. Great shooting gun.
Yep, loves the 1911's

My carry gun is a Vigil 9mm Government, I like it a lot. With the Vigils and Valkyries we got aluminum frames with the butts rounded slightly (not a full bobtail, but rounded), and that makes a world of difference for comfort.

My current carry is the little Kimber in the pic above. When a commander size 1911 shows up here it will get carried too.

My Dan Wesson semi-custom Pointman/Patriot and my 80 series Colt 1911 were the reason I refused to even consider a 1911 as anything to own for several decades or more. The Dan Wesson was the Epitome of the poem about the Little Girl that had a Little curl, right in the middle of her forehead...

I have a 10mm DW CBOB that I bought about ten years ago. Had a few issues that took a bit of doing to work out.
Now that it works perfectly, it is one of my favorite 1911s. Wouldn't mind a .45acp CBOB to go along with it, but they are few and far between (and quite a bit more expensive than they used to be)...
