I have a 3 Dan Wessons, A 357,a 44 Mag, and a 445 Supermag. I love them all. They are as strong as Ruger Super Redhawks, and more accurate than any revolver you can buy for under $1000. The interchangeable barrel concept is simple, flawless and makes the gun into a many different guns for many different purposes.
I love mine. I made the mistake of selling both of my Dan Wessons for financial reasons many years ago, but have since replaced them and would be EXTREMELY reluctant to ever part with them again.
I recently converted a Marlin 444 to 445 Supermag. I really like the concept of having a rifle pistol combination that will handle at least three different rounds (44 Special, 44 Magnum, and 445 Supermag) especially when I can set up the pistol in everything from a 4" barrel for dangerous game protection to a 10" scoped barrel capable of taking big game out to 200 yards in case something happens to the rifle.
By the way, I bought a stainless 445 Supermag with a scoped 8" barrel and a 6" barrel all in a Ziegel aluminum case for $620 plus shipping off AuctionArms, and I have since added a 4" barrel for $100.
That is a lot of value for the dollar, which is exactly what Dan Wesson has always given. I just don't know why more people have not caught on to the concept. Oh well, their loss and my gain.
