This bill, introduced in the Senate by the notoriously anti gun N.J. Senator Frank Lautenberg, would give the U.S. Attorney General the absolute power to deny Second Amendment rights (the right to own or buy a gun) to ANY individual whom he or she deems to be "appropriately suspected" of being a terrorist or having some link to terror.

The worst part (and this is from the actual bill language): "...any information which the Attorney General relied on for this determination may be withheld from the applicant if the Attorney General determines that disclosure of the information would likely compromise national security".

This means any future AG can deny ANYONE the right to own or buy a gun for just about ANY reason, because they won't have to disclose the reason for putting that person on the "terrorism watch list".

This bill is AmeriKa with a "K", folks. I strongly urge everyone to contact your U.S. Senators and Representatives and tell them your views on this dangerous bill.

Um...this was originally drafted in April, and as of my check just now, it only had 12 co-sponsors. Maybe the LOC is slow, but this bill is not exactly new.

Yeah the Dems have been trying to get their anti-gun laws through the Terrorist umbrella just as the Republicans have been putting up concentration for some time now. LOL
