I am looking to get a Daniel Defense AR.
I am down to either the DDM4 V7 and DDM4 V7 SLW.
The SLW is a lighter weight gun which I like. It has a lightweight profile barrel that is 14.5" long with an extended flash hider so it is not an SBR.
The standard V7 has government profile barrel which is 16" and has a normal length flash hider.
The weight difference is about 1/2 pound.
I really am wanting to get a lightweight build, and then keep it simple and light by probably just adding an Aimpoint T1 red dot and nothing else.
Which of these two would you pick and why?
How much if any accuracy and/or velocity loss will I take with the 14.5" barrel of the SLW?
