Date of Manufacture?

Can anyone help with a date of manufacture for a S&W serial number
67122x? Its made before model number usage, but I think it's just a common mil and police with aqn unbelievablely nice finish, save for holster wear... The last patent date on top of the bbl is Dec 29, 14. 1914 im guessing.

ianc, my M&P starts with the sn 884 and I've tied this down to late 1941, so yours probably was made in the middle to late '30s.
