Just picked up a S&W Model 10-5 pencil barrel, 4", looks unfired and I would call it 98% finish or better, slight turn ring, no marks on the firing pin bushing and the blue is original. C9232XX. Paid $229 and I think I got a great deal. Would that put it in the early 1964 production? It has the older font of the ampersand in the Smith & Wesson rollstamp.
Thanks!

Was she a good date?:D

And that's standard barrel. Those with a thick barrel are bull or heavy barrel. It should have a pinned barrel. And that is a very good price.

And probably around the late 1960's. I have a D234XXX that was manufactured in 1970 with a bull barrel.
