Took my 7-year-old daughter to the range for the first time. She shot my .22 lr CZ 452 varmint from a support and did a pretty good job. Most importantly she really liked it. After a few minutes she was working the bolt and loading the mags (under Dad's watchful eye of course). Now she's keen on trying out 10m compressed air shooting with the shooting school so I'm quite pleased.

Anyhow, here's her target (10 shots, 25 meters supported)

And loading the mag

She wants to hang the target in her room!:D

Good for her! Looks like you have a lifetime shooter on your hands...you better watch out! Those groups will surely close in and you may have some competition on your hands in a few years! Glad to see you both had fun. I would definitely let her hang the target up :)

You taught her well! No, Jk. She's a good shot with that! Very nice. Let her hang it up! Lets see who dares try to mess with her!

Thanks for your replies. I certainly hope she stays keen.
The target is now hanging in her room ;)

Yes, cute for sure, glad you can teach her something that is still legal (for the most part).

Those are some crazy safety glasses there.

LOL Good too see kids and parents out together enjoying the shooting sports. Congrats, hope they pass it along too.
