I am 6'5" and 300 pounds. Most packs feel tiny to me. I am looking for a day pack that is taller. What say you? Thanks...

I say:

A. I'm taller than thou.

B. You might try Cabela's. I have a back pack that fits me well I bought there. It's camo and has been to Alaska and a couple of times to South Africa as a carryon bag.

I'm 6'5" 200. I wish eberlestock packs were a bit more adjustable but I make them work.

If its really bothering you most any hiking store will have high quality packs that have enough up adjustment. However they aren't going to be covered in molle or have thick canvas for packing ammo and other heavy items.

it's not really a daypack, but a kelty redwing fit me pretty well. I'm 6'4 160.

But I feel your pain. no packs are long enough. Or if they are, they are SOOO deep that you can't get anything at the bottom. or you can drop the straps so the pack sits low on your back, but that flops around funny.

I'm not quite as tall as you, but probably a similar build (unless you're all torso and no legs). It doesn't have all the adjustments of a true backpacking pack, but the 5.11 Tactical Rush 24 is pretty comfy for me and will certainly hold up for what you're wanting.
