Dear Santa,

I thought about what I'd ask you for a while now. I thought about asking for a Red Ryder BB gun but I outgrew those when I was young. Also, BB guns are cheap. And you owe me.

The way I see it you have about 30 years of catching up to do, since the last time I sat on your lap was ... 30 years ago. 30 years worth of presents at (say) a modest $120 per year compounded annually at 7.5% is $13,964.

Which is right about the right amount to cover what I want.

Because all I want for Christmas is an M240 Bravo.

Thank you Santa.

Yeah it's a bit steep for my taste. That's $6K more than the DShK cost me.

Yeah Santa! I saw an engraved 1st gen SAA at the gun show this past weekend, I sure would like.. my wife put her foot down on 18k so it's up to you..

I hope you have better luck than me. :neener: My sights aren't anywhere near as high and I've been waiting 50+/- years for a 4"bbl, nickel plated, pearl gripped S&W Model 29.

Holy cow, can you imagine the ammount of ammo you would burn through with that thing? Unless it was a .22 I would only take it out only on special ocasions..Nice gun though.

My local public access station had a "Santa call in" where kids could call the station on the air, and Santa himself would listen to children's toy requests.
At the tender age of 13, I tried for a while to get through the line, with the sole intention of asking Santa for a semi-automatic UZI. Unfortunately the line was busy, so of course I never got the Uzi.
On a side note, make sure to see Rare Exports, a devilishly funny take on the Santa legend...
