Ok so if one was thinking of purchasing a saiga 12 would you all for the most part recomend doing a conversion?
Shoot the gun before you make your decision.

You'd not believe the number of folks who convert and then try to shoot, only to find out they've got a "vodka special". Guess what? Your warranty is blown when you convert it.

On another note, some folks like the way it comes from the factory.

Is there anybody that someone could pay to do the conversion for them? Price?
Well, depending on where you live, you could come do it yourself in my shop.

It's as easy as falling off a log while drunk, and I've got all the tools.

Considering the demand for this service and the lack of jobs in the economy, Saiga conversions could be a very lucrative business.

He did this one back around 2001, when he was doing the conversions for someone else, who turned out to be a clown. He markets them himself now. My buddy just got one of his new ones a couple of months ago, and its very nice.

Mine is also the AK103K version, which has a 14" barrel and permanently mounted brake. Not really "correct", but I like short barreled guns.
