For a BCM build, I am thinking of a Delton LOWER - tell me about them - quality? I THINK they have a commercial rear.

lowers are lowers.

I've heard good things about Doublestar, and I have a DSArms lower and it runs just fine.

My only gripe about DSArms is their customer service and how they treat their dealers. They took 2 months to ship my lower, and they didn't give my FFL their FFL info, so we had to wait before he could keep a record of sale.

But yeah, lowers are lowers. Some just use different lower parts-kits, but I think Del-ton, DSA, and Doublestar use DPMS parts-kits.

I agree. My buddy got a DelTon Lower and an Model 1 Sales varmint kit - seems like a fine rifle. I'm torn between a DSA or a Delton for my next build. I'm of the mindset to save some bucks on the stripped lower and put that into a barrel upgrade.

Are you getting the lower from Delton due to price? There's nothing wrong with the Delton. As has been said, lowers are lowers as long as they are in spec. It's just that the lowers that Spike's sells are really cool looking with the options that you can get.

If you're shopping price, check out the Aero Precision lowers. You can find really good deals on those.
