Denver, Colorado -- Anyone local stock Remington 158gr. .38 +P

I'm heading off the range tomorrow to try out a couple of new revolvers...and I realized I'm nearly out of a favored load -- Remington's 158gr .38 +P (the FBI Load). Remington's stock number is R38S12, and the box looks like this:

Does anyone know any gunshop/store etc. in the metro Denver area that might have a couple of boxes on their shelves? Last time I checked Sportsmens Warehouse didn't have it, and neither did several smaller shops/ranges (Firing Line, Shootist, Green Mtn. Guns, etc.)

hey there to a fellow Denverite. have you tried the Bass Pro over near the Stapleton area? they carry a large stock of ammo. call over there and ask them to see.

Even though i dont like them, you could call Gunsmoke see if they have it. just dont buy anything else there.

have you called Daves Guns? they are on Parker Road a few blocks south of Florida. They are a police supplier so i guess they would carry a bunch of specialty ammo.

I haven't been in Daves in a while...but that's a great suggestion. They're a bit closer to me than Bass Pro, but I'll keep BP in mind as a back-up.

Gander Mountain has it

Just an update for those who might be curious -- I found some R38S12 at the Gander Mountain in Aurora:

And the price was pretty comparable with online prices, too...

[edit] I did call Dave's, since they're closer to me...but they didn't have any .38 Remington in stock.
