Detachable ring repair.

I have a set of A.R.M.S. 30mm detachable scope rings for Weaver bases. They fit nothing without modification. They won't tighten down on some Weaver/picatinny bases(too loose) and won't close on others(too tight). I opened up some bases for a good fit but when I put them on my wife's Remington 710 the front one closed with some effort but fit. I removed them to reposition the scope and when I reinstalled them the front was tight(same base,same ring as before)so tight that I "helped it" breaking the lock. I said all of that to ask this. Is there any where that can repair this ring? I don't want to write them off if I don't have to(they cost $130). Thanks for any help.

Best bet is to contact the manufacturer and see if you can get repair parts or send them back to rework/exchange for new.

I suspect you're right RedAlert. That was my original plan,just thought I'd throw it out there in case there was something available that I didn't know about. Thanks
