Could also work as an invitation.

Nine mm and a .22? What distances?

I liked the quote from Inspector Harry Callahan, SFPD.

well, we are very seldom NOT home. at least one of us. and i kind of thought that a criminal might read it as "holy bullet hole batman, i want no part of that house". but now that i think about it, i wonder what a prosecuting attorney might think about it if i ever have to defend our home.?!

Hmmmmm. Pasting targets on my house doesn't strike me as an ideal "deterrent". An object one focuses on with intent to destroy seems more of an "invitation" to me.

....I know what I like to do to targets, but I have rock solid self-control. I would hope passers by show as much restraint when viewing a perfectly good target attached to a nice reactive medium such as glass.

Heck. You might want to consider staking some B-27's out in your front yard to make things a little more challenging. Maybe a few steel plates sitting on your car hood and some bowling pins on the kid's swingset.

I certainly hope there are people out there who can achieve tighter groups. I just hope they decide to use their own targets instead of that nice one you've provided.
