I just picked up a Stag Arms model 8 piston AR in a trade and the gun is wearing Diamondhead integrated sighting system sigths (front and back). I didn't know much about them so I checked out there web sight and they are priced at $238. Anybody have any experience with them? Just curious as they seem to be rather pricey sights when compared to the magpul MBU sights my 6920 wears. I've posted a pic of the sights on my gun (not that great so I included a pic I pulled off the web).

I have them as does my buddy. Great sights. They allow for really quick target acquisition and great accuracy. If you don't like them, send them my way! :D

I have 'em on a Stag 3.
Good sights on their own & co-witness perfectly with the Aimpoint.

thanks for the responses, I posted this as I've not heard of them and the price seemed high compared to the magpul mbu sights my 6920 wears. They seem to line up nicely when I shoulder the ar, just thought they have alot going on with them compared to the simpler magpul sights.

the concept behind this sight is that your brain will naturally align the sights easier and quicker by having "imaginary" crosshairs subconsciously used by the brain from the diamond shape, thus allowing you to center the front post easier. Don't know if it actually works, but it's an interesting concept considering its more of a "brain game" concept than gun concept.

Interesting idea; not worth the $150 premium over other backup sights.

If you want a crosshair in your iron sight, just buy the KNS sights with crosshairs in them. I'll stick to circles.
