No one else had the problem I did? First I was told that the coupon was a typo and only good on .22 Remington Thunderbolt ammution. :banghead: After talking with the manager for 15 minutes, she finally agreed to honor the coupon, so I bought 2 boxes of 30-30 Leverevolution and 2 boxes of 150 gr. 30-06 Remington corelokt. The 30-30 was 19.99 a box, and the 30-06 was about 16.00 a box, so overall saved about 18.00 at Dick's prices. Still the hassle I had to go through to use it may mean this purchase was my last at Dick's.

On top of it all, at Sportsman's Warehouse earlier in the day, I spotted a price difference between the price on an assembled treestand on display, and the price marked on the box. It turns out someone put the wrong price tag on the boxes and they didn't honor the lower priced boxed treestands. I'm not too upset about that because the price tag had the name of the tree stand it was meant for, just in much smaller print than the price.

At least the Williams Fool Proof sight for my Marlin 336 went on without a problem. Ordered it from Midway last Sunday and recieved it on Wednesday. Will definately do more business with them in the future.

I was a Dick's yesterday. I forgot to bring the coupon. Didn't matter to me, they did not have any .35 Remington.

I did pick up a Camelbak Ranger camo day pack with 3.0 litre water bladder. Used a gift card my son gave me for my b'day recently.

Went there Sunday and gave them a sob story about not being able to get there on saturday.
The Man said he would honor it anyway!! Sooo I got some 7.62x39 and couple o' bricks of double duce. And some 12 ga rounds. Not too shabby of a shopping spree.

Coupon worked better than fine for me. Clerk gave me 50% off all six boxes instead of just 3 of the 6!


BTW - I think their prices on ammo are pretty good $2 - $3 cheaper than the Gander Mountain across the parking lot for regular, and if you watch they have some nice sales.
