I had one of these W. German 220s. It was a tack driver. I paid $500 for a near new one at a local gunshop but that was over 10 years ago. I felt like I got a bargin then and think you not only got a good deal but a great gun.

Mine could shoot 1 1/2" groups at 25 yards from the bench. That is as good as I can shoot any pistol so I was impressed.

Does your's have night sights? Mine did and they were great. First gun I owned with night sights and I became a convert. Now all my guns for carry or home defense have night sights. Currently Glock 17 for HD and a G-26 for CCW.

I think you got a very good deal. I pickep up my police trade-in (carried alot shot a little) west german P220 for $375 and I was smilin ear to ear

Is it double action only, or single action only, or double/single action,.......or what?

Those make a person crazy with prices ranging from $300. to over $1000. because of some mysterious differences between model years, triggers, slide stamped or not stamped and I don't know what all.

It's why I've got more than 20 1911's - I always know where I'm at with each one.

I'm just a simple man.
