From what I can see, holding a hollow point from a box of each, recently bought and supposedly of current production: the difference is the "standard" black pack Wolf has grey polymer coated casings with black sealant over the primer - while the "classic" has a greenish lacquer finish with red sealant at the crimp and on the primer pocket. I have some older (6+ years) black box Wolf that looks like the "Classic"??? From published ballistics: the black box standard 122gr -at the muzzle: 2396 fps and 1555 ft lbs -
