I have a Dillon 550B and when I am loading rounds, the shellplate bolt turns as the index sprocket turns. This causes the bolt to tighten and hence causes the sprocket to tighten against the shell plate making the index sprocket harder to turn. I have to reach in about every 10 rds or so and loosen the shell plate bolt a little. I am thinking there might be a burr or something on the shell plate bolt that may be causing this.

Anybody have this issue or no what causes it?

Raise the ram about 1 inch and you'll see it over on the LH side.

And it doesn't need a zillion foot-pounds of torque to keep that bolt in place. Insert the long end of a 1/8" Allen wrench into the screw, and turn the small end with 2 fingers. That will apply all the torque that's required.
