I'd like to raise my hornady LNL AP press right now its mounted to my reloading bench I built @ 36 inches. I stand when I reload and have been getting a sore back after an hour of bending over and pulling the handle. The eight inch height increase would be an improvement

But I guess the big question is will the bolt holes in the dillon strong mount line up with the LNL press? I could probably fabricate some steel plate and weld up something but justs seems like a less work to bolt on the dillon ?

in the "SHOW ME YOUR RELOADING BENCH PICTURES" thread that is stickied, i couple pages back, someone posted a pic of the LNL on a SM, and i asked for more details and better pics, that shows you how to do it perfectly.

Thanks for the heads up on the reloading bench pictures I found the post about modifying the dillon 550 mount to work on the LNL.Looks like some wood working skills are needed I was hoping the bolt holes would just line up and and drop in........

I made a bracket today with some steel plate and welded a piece of 7 1/4 " inch tube that raised the height of the press 8 inches. My LNL shell plate is now 45 1/2 inches above the floor compared to my dillon thats 48 inches with the strong mount.

overall I'm happy with the mount it didn't cost me anything but my time and the steel plate was left over from a previous project.
