I've used the aerosol gun-kote that Brownells sells a couple times, each time I got a little better at it. The biggest issue I have I think is overspray and pooling in certain areas. I have seen professionally done guns that were spray coated and wondered how they get the internals covered uniformly.
I want to coat the inside of a shotgun receiver, what is the best way to get in there and deal with the inevitable overspray? One idea I had was using the make-up sponges my fiancee has to wipe down the recesses, but even that will be tough as some areas are pretty hard to reach and i don't know if i'll just end up wiping the stuff off altogether.
If anybody has any advice or tips i'd appreciate it, thanks.
