Do gels clean better than liquid solvents?

I was hoping to get opinions from people who have used gel sovents (like mpro 7 gel or others). Do you find that any of these clean noticebly better than liquid solvents? Thank you.

I have used Blue Wonder's cleaner and it is a gel. The gel stays in the barrel longer than the liquid - it doesn't run to the bottom of the barrel. It works ok. I have tried many cleaners, but the one that works the best for powder fouling and copper is Wipe-Out. It is a foam that will completely clean the bore. Spray it in, let it sit, flush it out with patches. No brushing is needed and it works better than any other cleaner I've used.
