If you had to pick one length of barrel and one choke for all your shotgun needs, what would it be? No choke tubes, just one choke. No extra barrels, just one barrel.
Am I the only one who uses a full choke for everything? Kills birds/clay pigions "extra dead" at close range and still allows for a dense pattern at long range.
I'd go for a 24" screw-in choke barrel (i.e. turkey-gun length). It's long enough to swing better than a slug barrel, but short enough to be handy in tight situations (e.g. home defence).
