Do you carry a full sized firearm?

Other than a couple of older Magnum revolvers, I don't think I own a "full-size" gun.

I'm 70" tall and weigh 230 lbs. My EDC pistol is the HK45CT, which is .45ACP. I carry it in a Raven Concealment Systems Phantom holster on my right hip OWB. Even though I have a Ruger LCP, I simply prefer a larger caliber when carrying for self-defense. I believe a .45 will simply outshoot a .380 when the chips are down. It is harder to hide the HK, but I dress around the pistol and make sure it never prints.

Have S&W 4506 (5") I'm very fond of; not "too pretty to carry" if ya know what I mean.

I think what surprises me most is that 63% of people apparently carry full sized firearms.

Reading the responses, most did not full size all the time. Depends on mood, weather and destination for me.

I carry full size only. I'm six foot 250lbs. My carry guns are 1911, Walther P88, XDm 9 or 40.and a really nice .41 AE with ported slide and barrel that I shoot better than all the rest. Glad I bought enough ammo for the .41 when you could get it. lol
