Do you like flag-themed holsters?

I’m up for anything patriotic. I don’t understand having a decorative holster intended for concealing a firearm. I’m considering a flag theme for my little colt once it’s back in proper condition, period correct of course.
 
I don't. While I wore them, I really didn't care for US Flag patches either. I generally treat these things with the same respect as I treat a real US Flag and don't expect to roll around in the ground with them since I wouldn't do it with a US Flag.

Nice looking holster but not my style. The closest I get to "exciting" beyond the usual brown or black leather is maybe getting one with a basketweave pattern on it!
 
I have to say you do very good work and that's an excellent holster. However it's not my cup of tea at all. I'm an old leathercrafter and I'm stuck on either plain or floral carving. I don't even care for basket weave stamping. The thing is that's what your customer wanted and you delivered a very good piece of work. If you are in a business everyone is your boss if you want to succeed. If I still did custom leather work I would make that too despite what my personal tastes are.:thumbup:
 
Thanks for the comments everyone. Honestly, I wouldn't wear that holster myself because I usually have a shirt hiding my rig anyway.
I did make this holster for a fellow soldier that I would probably wear....mainly because an outfit out of the 101st Airborne trained me when I was a cadet at West Point and I hold fond memories of that group. 20180325_175549.jpg
 
I have an OWB leather holster with a beautiful rendition of the Arizona state flag on it. It turned into a BBQ holster, as I don't carry the government 1911 that often.

It's a straight drop OWB holster for a full size (AKA Government) 1911. All I said was I wanted the Arizona flag on the holster and left it up to him. He always does fantastic, artistic work. I'm trying to get him to make me a holster for my HK P7 right now.
 
I do. But not brightly colored. I've seen some nice custom holsters that have flags or other images, that are subdued, that I like. If someone sees a little bit of brown or black leather poking out they assume it's a cell phone case.
 
I don't. But if one likes them, and it's in good taste display wise, go for it.

Thanks for the look at the Arizona flag holster! Very nice; always thought it was one of the most colorful and well designed state flag!
