Do you spend more on handgun or long gun ammunition.

Handgun here, I shoot my rifles sparingly, but my pistols with abandon. Currently I'm reloading 9mm like it was going out of style, just bought another 10k primers yesterday.

In practice - I shoot more cheap pistol rounds over a shorter period. I shoot less rifle ammo, even over long periods at the range, probably because rapid fire is less of a need. But cheap rifle ammo generally costs me more than cheap pistol ammo, so it probably balances out over the long run.

Rifle at this time but hope to curve that with my new reloading setup.
Its an expensive habit - more then I realized for sure.

Long gun ammo by far. I buy .223 and 7.62 NATO by the thousands of rounds, I buy pistol ammo by the box of 50.
