The first gun I ever shot was Grandpa's Winchester. It was given to me a few years ago by my father. It was the first gun my son ever shot, and in about 20 years, or when his son turns 12 I will give it to him.

It's a first year production Winchester 1903.

First gun I ever bought was a 20 guage single shot. My friends and I chopped it down to pistol size and enjoyed blowing up all kinds of things. I held onto it until my first marriage went down the tubes. I reaaally didn't want my soon to be ex tipping off a cop that I owned it so I cut throught the hinge and disposed of it.

Yes, the first firearm I ever shot, a beat up old Winchester 1906.

It was originally given to my Dad at age 8 by a cheese salesman who had it banging around in the trunk of his car. He overheard my Dad begging his Dad for a .22 while supplying my Grandfather's general store in Connecticut. I have been told that he said something like: "If you are too cheap to buy the kid a rifle, I have one I will give him."

I still shoot it, and it is the ONE gun that I will never part with until the time comes to pass it to my son or a grandchild.

Thats a good one. :)

Still have my first shotgun. M88 kicks like a mule, mother-in-law ugly, maybe a little loose but she fires and waits patiently for next season.

No. It was a Savage 16 guage semiautomatic shotgun with polychoke.

Sold it for $90 in 1974.

Yes. A Mossberg model 395KA, 12 gauge bolt action with a c-lect-choke. I got it for Christmas right after my 13th birthday and that was in 1966. Killed lots of rabbits, quail, squirrel and pheasants with it. Even took my first deer with it.

the first gun I shot wasnt mine and I havnt seen the owner for years. THe first one I ever owned resides in a case in my bedroom. Savage single shot bolt action .22 lr Youth IY rifle.

Regretably No....

My dad bought me a Marlin .22 caliber auto, probably a model 60 or similar but I was too young to take note of the model number. We bought it used and it never quite worked right so he replaced it with a Remington model 581 which I still have :)
