Whole family uses the .25-06 2ith great results. I use 115-120 grain bullets (Nosler Partition or Hornady). Dad uses 100 grain Nosler Partition, brother shoots 100 grain Hornady in an improved .25-06. Between us, we have probably killed 35 or so Antelope, and at least as many deer. You shouldn't have any problems with the .25. Have a friend in Wyoming who's wife uses the round on everything up thru Elk. She got a Moose tag last year, and did move up to a .270 for it, but said that she would have felt confident in the .25 if recoil ha been too much in the .270.
