I have over a quart of Liquid Alox already, and I'm really happy with it. I just wonder if the Rooster Jacket lube is less smokey for shooting indoors. I was shooting .38 Specials tonight and everybody else had .22's. Everyone was coughing from the smoke (that smells like burnt soap) even though the ventilation is pretty good. This was the first time I've shot my cast bullets indoors; usually I use Berry's plated bullets for target work.

Thanks.

I have used Rooster Jacket with pistol rounds. I don't remember it being any less smoky than Lee Liquid Alox, but it was a bit better than conventional lubing as far as smoke.
